1. The SOW says Vycon UPS units are being replaced, but only Eaton battery cabinets are being put in their place. Can you confirm if there are Eaton UPS’s AND battery cabinets being put in place?

Answer: Eaton UPS and battery cabinets are requested

2. Can you provide a BOM of the units being requested and/or part numbers?

Answer:

Eaton Model 93-PM 300kVA VRLA Battery Replacement Serial Number: EM021UXX06 Cabinet: 93PM IBC-LWH

Eaton Model 93-PM 150kVA VRLA Battery Replacement Serial Number: EM025UXX01 Cabinet: 93PM IBC-LW

3. Is it possible to schedule a site visit?

Answer: No

4. What is the reason Eaton units are required? I read the justification form and didn’t see the reason why, only that the Agency called Eaton and asked for rep. There are many UPS OEM’s that can satisfy this requirement.

Answer: Current solution for the Command is all EATON products, in an effort to keep a cohesive solution it is in the best interest of Federal Government to continue use to EATON products for this acquisition.
