SOLICITATION NUMBER W91ZLK-22-R-0025.
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:
Please see the response provided per the technical POC:
1. What is the kVA size of the units in question?
ANSWER: kVA sizes are different for each UPS system depending on the unit. There's 22 different buildings in this scope of work, with kVA sizes ranging from 6 to 800 kVA. Manufacture and model numbers have been provided in paragraph 3.5, Table 1 for vendors to research, if need be, what's currently in use at APG.
2. What is the battery count (for the three phase units)?
ANSWER: We don't have that information at this time. Most of the 3 phase units have 8 strings with 24 batteries; however, some are smaller.
3. What is the battery type (for the three phase units)?
ANSWER: Not sure what is meant by 'battery type'. Are they asking for the manufacture and model number or are they asking for the construction of the batteries; however, paragraph 3.5, Table 1, list all the equipment that is part of the scope of work. Battery manufacturer's name and model numbers are listed for the bidders to research any information they would need to know about what APG has currently.
4. Is PM service to be performed during normal working hours?
ANSWER: Yes, PM will be during normal business hours; however, there will be after hour 24X7 phone support and next business day repairs. Refer to paragraphs 3.3 and 3.4.
5. Regarding paragraph 3.2.2 software – does the government have access to and authorization to use the software for the UPS units covered in the contract?
ANSWER: The contractor will be required to update and patch all software; however, should plan to leave a copy of the software with the government TPOCs.
