QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Regarding Solicitation W91ZLK-22-R-0025:

We currently do not have a maintenance contract in place so the POP will be for one (1) year from the date this contract is awarded.

For the first email, here are the answers from our technical POC:

1) Please confirm the not to exceed threshold amounts. Does the following SOW points then make the total $4,000 per UPS unit?

ANSWER: There are 2 separate repair/replacement items.

a) For paragraph 3.3.2 this is for PM findings. If the contractor has to perform minor repairs or corrective actions based on the PM findings, the cost of those repairs (included at no additional cost to the government) shall not exceed $1000. If the UPS needs replaced or the estimated cost exceeds $1000 per UPS system then the contractor would provide a separate quote for those repairs/replacements.

b) For paragraph 3.4.3 this if for 24X7 emergency services. If the contractor has to provide emergency services and repairs/replacements (after PM has been done---emergency failures), to include batteries, those repairs/replacements should exceed $3000. If it does, they would provide a separate quote for those repairs/replacements.

2) Since grounding and bonding is not an industry standard of UPS maintenance, can these requirements be removed from the SOW?

ANSWER: No, this requirement can't be removed. UPS systems are grounded and we're requesting during the PM that the grounding is checked to ensure it's not loose and bonded correctly.
