Question 1:
The F5 line items specifically call out installation and training. The Cisco line items do not call out either.
We need clarification on whether installation and training is needed for the Cisco gear.
Related statements in the document for Question 1:
7) Remote training for all related hardware and software
* Coordination of installation and training must be made with the APHC Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) as identified in the contract document.
Answer 1:
The training/installation services are not needed for the Cisco equipment, it is only needed for the F5 equipment.
Question 2:
The maintenance requested on the Cisco gear is for 1 year. The software subscription is for 3 years.
Industry Practice: It is normal in industry to have the maintenance match the software term.
Would the APHC like to have them match or are two different terms intentional.
Answer 2:
We intentionally termed the Cisco software subscription for three years and the maintenance for one year.
