No two systems or media converters shall be turn ON at the same time. One output form each Video Teleconferencing Unit shall be connected to an individual input on a video switcher which shall automatically be selected when the VTU receives power. The signage shall also be triggered to provide the classification of the room.

● All cabling in the conference room shall be concealed.

○ All audio video cabling shall be concealed under the floor or in a cable management system.

Network cabling other than the control network shall be installed in a clear tubing or wrap allowing the cable to be inspected.

○ HDMI Cabling that exits the rack shall be fiber optic

● All equipment shall be UL tested

● All power connectors shall be UL tested

● All equipment shall run on 120VAC

○ No up converted power transformers are allowed.

AUDIO

Three omnidirectional microphones with push to talk capability shall be installed with this system. Each microphone shall directly connect to the corresponding video teleconferencing unit. Each microphone shall be marked with the classification of the network its corresponding VTU is connected to.
