About this file

This is a Solicitation Questions and Answers document dated 22 January 2026 that clarifies key requirements for an equestrian training contract. The document does not address specific pricing, response dates, or award dates.

The clarifications resolve discrepancies between the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the Point of Information (POI) regarding training specifications. The maximum student class size is fifteen students, with a minimum of six. Each training course runs for twelve weeks, while the ordering period spans twelve months, allowing multiple courses to be scheduled during a single ordering period. All lessons will be conducted at the contractor's site or a mutually agreed upon alternative location, with the contractor responsible for transporting horses and class materials to any alternate location. The contractor must provide tack but will not provide wagon-related materials or equipment; all wagon work has been removed from training requirements. Graduation will be held at Fort Myer, separate from the training location.
