About this file
This document is a set of questions and answers from a site visit related to a federal contract opportunity for Pest Control Services at Arlington National Cemetery (ANC) in Virginia and the United States Soldier's and Airmen's Home National Cemetery (USSAHNC) in Washington, D.C. The key details are:
The services can be provided by one or two separate companies. The government does not have a required quantity for outdoor rodent bait stations, but the contractor must establish a sufficient number. There have been no emergency or non-regular service requests in the past 24 months. Approximately 125 exterior rodent bait stations are currently installed, and an unknown number of interior bait stations, likely around two dozen mouse traps. There have been some minor clarifications to the Statement of Work (SOW) since the last award, but no major changes. Wildlife trapping services have occurred, with squirrel traps set for 10-15 days and coyote traps set for 5 days in the last 24 months. The government is unaware of any cure notices issued. This is not a labor-hour contract, and the previous contract was awarded for $17,913.44. The new solicitation, W91QV1-25-R-0005, is a Small Business 100% Set Aside and the Request for Proposal (RFP) closes on November 6, 2024.
