About this file

This document appears to be a Request for Information (RFI) related to a federal contract opportunity for post-wide crane and hoist inspections. The RFI clarifies that the American Water Works Association (AWWA) training and compliance requirement for chemical metering, mentioned in section 1.6.8, is not actually required for the scope of work for crane inspections. The related federal contract opportunity is for the Contractor to accomplish required safety inspections, load tests, and repairs on hoists and cranes as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Contractor will provide loaded hourly rates for labor and copies of commercial price lists for parts and supplies. Upon contract award, the Contractor will have one year to implement the contract line items to perform the annual safety inspections, load-testing, and reporting for 18 garrison cranes and hoists, 1 building 1276 10-ton crane, and 26 USAMRIID lifting devices. The Contractor will provide quotes for any necessary repairs directly to the Contracting Officer.
