IFB Questions & Answers
Q1. Question: The specified slat ceiling system is manufactured in Canada. Will we be able to use a Canadian product on this project?
A1. Answer: Canada falls under the Qualifying Countries in the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). Products from Canada may be purchased.
Q2. Question: The bid form now has (2) line items for the work itself. Will the government possibly award one line item and not the other?
A2. Answer: The Government intends to award all or none of this requirement.
Q3. Question: Can an additional line item be added to the bid form to reflect both areas being done together? I believe this will be less expensive overall, rather than adding the (2) areas together for (1) lump sum.
A3. Answer: The Government intends to award all or none of this requirement. The separation of the CLINS (i.e. Downstairs vice Upstairs shall not be construed as anything other than cost accounting).
