About this file
This file contains Requests for Information (RFIs) and responses related to a golf cart rental solicitation for Camp Perry in Port Clinton, Ohio. The government is seeking rental of 6 Box-T 2-passenger golf carts with cargo boxes and 14 six-passenger golf carts, all gas-powered with sun canopies, fold-down windshields, headlights, and taillights. Equipment delivery is scheduled for July 6, 2026, with return on August 12, 2026. The prime contractor bears full responsibility for the awarded contract, though subcontracting to local providers is permitted subject to review and limitations under FAR 52.219-14.
Key operational details include that the government will not provide insurance coverage for rental equipment, and contractors must deliver vehicles with full fuel tanks with no requirement for additional fuel provision during the rental period. Inspection will occur at both drop-off and pick-up. Specific delivery time windows and staging/storage locations will be coordinated with the Point of Contact (POC) per the Performance Work Statement (PWS) once a contractor is awarded. The government has not provided an estimated budget or historical pricing data. Past performance will be evaluated per the Instructions to Offerors section 1.3. Questions should be directed to Contract Officer Alan J. Cooper at alan.j.cooper8.civ@army.mil at least seven days prior to the solicitation closing date to ensure response.
