The required performance has changed from The Ohio National Guard has a requirement for the removal and replacement of various culverts at Camp James A Garfield Military Training Center. The base bid will consist of three culverts (locations outlined in the SOW) with 11 additional optional locations.Each culvert site is unique in pipe length, diameter and environmental concerns but the process should be the same at each site and will include;

Measurements of the existing culvert and site preparation with placement of erosion and sediment controls. Removal of the existing pipe culvert and preparation of the site for its replacement which usually includes re-grade the earth and gravel base at the site. Emplacement of the new culvert, adding material as necessary to adequately receive and discharge water from logical points on either side of the roadway. Additional construction of headwalls to the inlet and outlet sides of the culvert. Backfill with stone and compacting the site. The project site is located at Camp James A. Garfield Military Training Site, 8451 State Route 5 Ravenna, OH. 44266. This solicitation is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-AsideNAICS: 237110.
