Q1. Please provide additional detail about Conference room table connections. Is this a laptop connection at the conference table? Should this be a portable setup? What is the design intention?

A1.

The requested video distribution matrix switcher is designed to support eight audio and video inputs by four audio and video outputs. Therefore the video and audio connections feed ports must be split up to support fixed inputs at the GFE Podium supports (HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, DVI-D) inputs from laptops and desktops- AS WELL AS- connections designed to support Audio and Video feed connections from mobile assets residing on portable conference room tables. The conference tables’ move based on capacity and event; therefore, their connections must be mobile while still facilitating full functionality. The following picture GFE Podium illustrates its size design and imbedded 19in mounting rack. This rack is intended to ensure the equipment is aesthetically pleasing and secure.

Q2. Are the GFE lectern and AV Rack to be reused or replaced?

A2.

The GFE Lectern illustrated below is to be reused. The AV rack, on the other hand, is to be replaced or eliminated if all head end equipment can be installed in the GFE lectern.
