About this file
This amendment provides responses to questions submitted under solicitation W912WJ20B0005 to replace the electrical conduits at a dam site. The Army Corps of Engineers issued the amendment to describe the work locations from 3 to 4 feet deep in manholes. Interior inspections of manholes require approval but exterior site visits are permitted. A virtual site visit was held with representatives from multiple construction companies and government agencies attending. The presentation from the virtual visit will be made available online and questions can still be submitted to the contracting specialist. The agency intends to issue a notice to proceed after awarding the contract, with work expected to occur later in the summer or early fall.

SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE
The following have been added by full text:
P00002
1. How deep is work in manholes?
Response: 3 to 4 feet
2. If we inspect the exterior of the dam site will we be allowed to open any manholes?
Response: We are providing pictures of the manholes in lieu of allowing opening during a visit.
3. Will you issue an addendum with any questions received today and in the future before the bid?
Response: Yes, an amendment will be issue to respond to all RFI’s submitted.
4. Can we receive a copy of virtual site visit video whether we attend or not?
Response: Due to technical issues, there is no recording, but the power point presentation will be posted and any questions can be submitted to the Contract Specialist Sara J. Torres at sara.j.torres@usace.army.mil
5. Can we arrange our own site visit, at least to see the exterior work?
Response: Yes the site is open to the public. Interior inspection would require a request to be coordinated through the Contract Specialist.
6. When do you tentatively plan to have the work done?
