Wednesday 13 July 2017

SUBJECT: W912SV-17-T-2000 Golf Carts, Westfield Open House

This document is a running list and will be incorporated via solicitation prior to bid opening.

Question 01: With the tremendous amount of traffic on the Mass Pike at the Westfield exit would it be possible for us to exit our carts on Sunday, August 13th starting around 9 pm and work through the night if necessary?

Answer 01: Due to manning requirements we will not be able to support this on Sunday night. Removal can begin Monday morning, with possible accommodation begin later in the day on Monday.

Question 02: Are all vehicles required to be gas operated or can there be a mixture of electrics?

Answer 02: They do not all need to all gas operated, but it is preferable for gas operated as our ability to ensure a constant charge on the electric golf carts as well as the ability to charge all of them over night.

Question 03: Under utility carts, is that golf carts with a metal cargo box or are you looking for something much larger?

Answer 03: Just a standard cargo box. Typically called carry-alls.

Question 04: Is there an incumbent contractor currently performing these services or if this is a new requirement. If there is an incumbent, could you please provide the contract number?

Answer 04: This is a new requirement.
