QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS PERTAINING TO SOLICITATION

W912SV-17-T-0038

Posted 19 September 2017

Q1: There doesn't seem to be a line item for the toilets that are there on a monthly basis with once a week cleanings. I’ve been told there are currently 23 toilets there that are being billed on a monthly basis. Is this a mistake?

A1: The solicitation will be amended to change the CLIN structure and an updated 1449 will be posted to FBO for offer submittal.

ALL OFFERORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW THIS AMENDMENT IN ITS

ENTIRETY.

Due to these changes, the solicitation closing period will be extended to 1400 hours (2:00 p.m.) Eastern Time on Wednesday, 4 October 2017 to allow offeror’s the opportunity to review and revise their quotes accordingly.

Additionally, DFARS 252.204-7011 allows for offerors to propose “Alternative Line Item Structure” but offerors are warned that if this method is chosen, it must be PERFECTLY CLEAR what is being proposed. The burden is on the offeror to clearly state what all the alternatives would be, how they would be broken out, etc.

Q2: Do I list our CAGE code under Code or Facility Code?

A2: In block 17.a. enter your company CAGE Code in the CODE box.

Q3: The item numbers #0001-0007 seem to repeat themselves several times; ie, #1001, 2001, 3001, 4001 and 5001. It looks to me that they are the same supplies/service with just a different item number. Is this correct?

A3: No. The additional CLIN’s are for the option years. (i.e.-CLIN 0001 is CLIN # 1 for the base contract year; CLIN 1001 is CLIN # 1 for Option Year # 1; CLIN 2001 is CLIN # 1 for Option Year # 2)

Q4: Can you tell me the best way to get this bid to you? I was planning on having the President of the company sign page 1 and type up the item numbers on letterhead and email it to you. Is this sufficient or do I need to scan all 24 or 77 pages to you?

A4: Please see item # 6 of updated "SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION" for offer submission guidance.
