QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS W912QG24R0001
1. Approximately how many soldiers need to be tested yearly as a part of this contract?
Answer: Approximately 5-20 service members (SM) a day will require Audiology services. We are not able to have those SM iden fied un l they complete and fail the hearing test with the hearing sec on of the IMRX. Drill is typically 24 days a year, 2 days a month (on a weekend).
2. Is audio testing only to take place on drill weekends? Or will there be dates outside of regular drill weekends (and "Super Drill" weekends) that testing is required to take place?
Answer: Audiologist services will only take place on drill weekends when IMRX/SRP is scheduled and conducted.
3. Approximately how many soldiers need to be tested per drill weekend?
Answer: 5-20 SM a drill day. Typical drill is over 2 days, with 10-40 SM needing tes ng.
4. Is all audio testing equipment provided by the agency requesting services?
Answer: MEDCMD provides the audio tes ng equipment.
5. If all audio testing equipment is provided, is the contractor responsible for the testing, calibration, and maintenance required for the provided equipment?
Answer: A MEDCMD federal employee, Hearing Technician, is responsible for the calibra on and maintenance through Fort Jackson.
6. Will the requesting agency provide equipment such as laptops, or secure storage devices to store testing results?
Answer: Tes ng results are notated within the SM IMRX/SRP packet. MEDCMD is responsible for the storage of the results/medical records. Equipment is in a locked room that required a key-card access, room will be unlocked when Audiologist arrives. No requirement for contractor key-card.
7. Will the contractor staff be required to obtain a CAC and/or DBIDS card as a part of this contract?
Answer: CAC is not required. DBIDS card is at the discre on of the COR – COR would take responsibility for the contractor’s access. Currently, Audiologists do not have a DBIDS card since it would grant contractor access to base at any me. COR submits contractor’s name/drives license info on a Gate Access Roster for access to the base limited to the drill weekend.
8. Is this a new contract or is there currently an incumbent who is providing services? If this contract is currently active can you provide the incumbent company name?
Answer: Paradigm Professional Health Services is the contractor for the current Audiology Contract.
9. Is there a particular format you'd like this proposal submitted?
Answer: Please see 52.212-1 and 52.212-1 Addendum for instruc ons.
10. Are the required trainings for the Key Personnel billable? If yes, how many total hours are billable?
Answer: Contractor is required to submit a firm fixed price to comply with all contract requirements.
11. Approximately, how many hours per month are services required?
Answer: A drill day is typically from 0800-1700, drill is usually 2 days in a month on a weekend.
