Questions and Answers #2 28 June 2018
Q. Is it safe to assume that the OWS at S-21 Bldg 802 is smaller than the largest one at S1 Bldg 106?
A. Yes
Q. I was reviewing Appendix A and have a question about the Ancillary equipment. i.e. S-1 lists capacity of 6000 gal and then the Ancillary equipment’s lists 6000 gal WST. Does that indicate that S-1 has 12,000 gal of capacity that needs to be cleaned and inspected?
A. Yes
Q. Have any of the OWS/Traps tested for positive for Hazardous Materials?
A. The materials have not been analytically tested to determine if they meet the definition of hazardous material in 49 CFR 171.8. However, with process knowledge, the government does not expect the materials to be hazardous.
Q. Are there any analytical testing results available for review?
A. No
Q. We normally do not clean grease traps, if we win the contract will we be able to sub-contract that portion?
A. Yes
