About this file

This document is a Quality Confirmation Checklist for two types of security fence installations: an 8' fixed position commercial grade security fence and a 6' removable commercial grade security fence. The checklist provides detailed specifications and inspection criteria for fence installation, including requirements for:

8' Fixed Position Fence: Specifications include 3" SF40 Premium Commercial Grade Galvanized terminal and gate posts, 9-gage chain link 2" wire mesh, 3-strand galvanized barb wire top, 11-gauge aluminum fence ties, and precise installation details such as posts set in concrete, plumb in 360-degrees, spaced no more than 10 feet apart, and with no gaps greater than 2". The fence must be tight to the ground, with tension bars, tension wire, and hog-rings securing the fabric.

6' Removable Fence Panels: The checklist outlines requirements for removable fence panels installed on an esplanade wall, including galvanized pipe/fence post brackets with a minimum of 2 bolts, 2"x 8' posts that overlap the wall by 24 inches, and panels secured with stainless steel hose clamps. The panels are intended to replace existing double swing drive gates, with specific installation guidelines to ensure proper fit, alignment, and minimal ground clearance.
