Question # Question Response

1 Who are the daily safety meeting for? The contractor will give the safety meeting to their employees.

2 How do we submit for equal to equipment? For equal to equipment the specification must be provided with the technical proposal.

3 Will we need keys? No, all areas should be open during normal working hours.

What is the average frequency of mowing? In recent years at the height of the growing season, Group A, B, and C mowings were required every 7 to 9 days.

5 Can we store equipment? We do not allow the storage of equipment due to space and liability concerns.

6 What is the slope for the DAM, Group C, that needs to be mowed? Approximately 23 percent.

7 What is the slope for the emergency spillway, Group D, that needs to be mowed? One percent or less.

8 Who is the COR? One will be appointed at the time of contract award.

Has the scope of work changed since the previous contract?

Yes. The area under Group D mowings has been reduced, as septic drain fields are no longer included. The area to be mulched has been reduced in size by 1700 square feet (Section 2.6). The previous contract also included extensive herbicide spraying, and snow removal from roadways, parking lots and walkways.

To be considered technically acceptable, the government states that contractors

"must show previous experience with the type of work described in the Performance

Work Statement (PWS)" and the offeror must submit a "minimum of two (2) contracts/projects shall be provided. "Will the government allow the past performance projects submitted to be from a major subcontractor?

Yes, as long as the prime was the awardee and responsible for the performance of the contracts submitted.
