a. Work Schedule. Whenever the nature of the contract and the work location are such that the work is to be performed in an area assigned to activities and services that cannot be interrupted, work shall be scheduled with concurrence of COR in such a manner as to cause the least possible inconvenience to the normal operations of mentioned activities and services. Contractor shall submit his proposed work schedule to the COR at the time of the pre-construction conference.
Work start shall be contingent upon schedule approval.
b. Utilities Cut-Offs. As a rule, cut-off of power and other utilities (water, sewage, heating system, etc.) is not allowed. All temporary connections necessary to insure continuous power distribution shall be provided. If cut-offs are necessary, they shall not exceed the period of time strictly needed to make the temporary connections. Cut-off shall be scheduled with the COR not less than 15 days ahead of time.
c. Alarm, Telephone and Televisions Systems. Deenergizing of alarm, telephone and television systems is strictly prohibited. Should these systems, which may not appear on the drawing interfere with the contract work, they shall be temporarily diverted and fed by means of temporary connections to be adequately protected. Written approval must be obtained from COR prior to doing any temporary work.
d. System Reactivating. At the completion of the work, all existing systems, including water, electrical and heating systems, shall be reactivated and placed in their original locations.
e. Temporary Protections. Floors, carpets, and equipment that cannot be removed shall be adequately protected by temporary tarpaulins to be furnished and installed at no cost to the US Government. In addition, temporary protections shall be furnished and installed in some particular areas so as to allow performance of activities that cannot be interrupted or transferred.
Also, the Contractor shall be responsible for removing, protecting, and reinstalling all furniture, shelves and furnishings that may interfere with the work course. A wrong or no evaluation of all requirements specified above does not constitute grounds for a request for additional compensation.
1a-02 JOBSITE CLEAN UP AND DUST CONTROL. The contractor shall have sufficient trash/waste bins on site, and shall clean the worksite so that all discarded materials, debris and trash are placed in these bins at the end of each workday, and not left or allowed to accumulate anywhere else on the jobsite. These waste bins shall not be allowed to overflow with debris, and shall be emptied as soon as they become full. Haul roads shall be watered sufficiently to prevent excessive dust. The work area shall be swept regularly to prevent accumulation of debris.
Equipment, construction materials and excavated soil shall be stored in a safe and orderly manner on the jobsite, in accordance with the contractor's approved area use plan.
1a-03 CONSTRUCTION AND DEMOLITION WASTE MANAGEMENT. The contractor is considered the waste generator of all salvage, re-usable, re-cyclable and disposable materials derived from the demolition and removal works included in this contract and shall handle these materials as hereinafter indicated.
a. Salvage Material. All salvage end items that the COR will have considered in good operating conditions shall be disassembled without damage, cleared of all dirt and scaling and then transported to the DPW Warehouse, Building 5156, Depot, where they shall be handled over undamaged.
b. Re-usable Material. End items removed during contract accomplishment which cannot be re-utilized in future construction but which still have a commercial value shall be delivered to the DRMO, through DD Form 1348-1a. This material includes, but it is not limited to, canvas, textile consisting of scrap clothing, scrap aluminum including doors, windows and frames, copper, brass, bronze, and stainless steel, cables, electric motors, light and heavy metals in different sizes and thicknesses that the DRMO contractor can handle (3-4 m long), electrical and electronic equipment, and kitchen appliances. All the above material must be free of hazardous property and need to be segregated. The scraps generated in the Supply & Maintenance Area shall be transported to the DRMO yard only on Monday and Tuesday from 08:00 am to 15:00 pm by appointment through the COR. The scraps generated from other installations must be kept in place. DRMO will arrange the removal. However, the contractor shall request a pre-inspection of the material by DRMO through the COR.
c. Recyclable Material. All construction and demolition recyclable waste material shall be delivered to authorized treatment facilities by the contractor.
d. Special Waste. All special waste, either hazardous or not hazardous, shall be delivered by the contractor to authorized disposal facilities.
e. Waste Storage. Construction and demolition waste shall be stored in waste specific containers provided by the contractor. Containers will be in good conditions, free from severe rusting, bulging, or structural defects. Containers shall be placed in area identified by COR.
Containers shall be removed once full or on COR’s decision.
f. Certificates and Authorizations.
(1) Recyclable Materials. As regards to recyclable materials, the Contractor shall submit copy of the authorization of the treatment facility which they are delivered to and will certify that waste have been removed in compliance with applicable law requirements.
(2) Disposable Materials. As regards to material delivery to disposal facilities, the contractor will provide the COR and DPW Environmental Office with copies of the following documents:

That means as follows:
- 1= Number of the telecommunication room
- 1= Number of the telecommunication rack
- A01=Number of the patch panel and number of door
Note: Telecommunication rooms (TR) are numbered progressively; the first telecommunication room, the one in which the cables coming from the outside of the building are connected, is the number 1 (TR1). In case there are further telecommunication rooms, they will be numbered as TR2, TR3, etc.
13b-7.3 Communication jacks RJ45 Communication jacks RJ45 installed in rooms shall be labeled as shown below:
