The Contractor shall coordinate the necessity of obtaining a Kennedy Valve representative for the initial inspection and operation of the valves to validate the proper working order. The Contractor shall exercise the valves at time of transfer to ensure working order. The Contractor shall provide the necessary equipment to exercise the valves. This equipment must have a torque output limiter to properly conduct the exercise. The Contractor will be required remove the valves from S&WB property to a Contractor provided secure storage location. The Contractor shall provide the equipment to lift and transport the valves to his/her storage location.
