RFI # RFI QUESTION RESPONSES
1 Previous Incumbent: Could you please inform us who the previous contract holder was for this service? This information will help us gauge the benchmark standards and the expectations from the service provider.
The incumbent is Recology Sonoma Marin.
2 Contract Value: We would also appreciate if you could share the contract value of the previous period. This will assist us in ensuring that our proposal is competitively and appropriately priced.
Data regarding previous contract can be found in SAM.gov under Notice ID W912P719P0001 (under the inactive category).
3 We would like to know if this is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services. If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number?
This is a replacement contract. See responses to questions 1 and 2 for the incumbent name and contract number.
4 I wanted to send this contract over to a potential hire but the scope of work doesn’t specify what days they will have to perform. Is it daily or a few days a week?
The dumpster service is once weekly for all trash dumpsters, bi-weekly for the recycle dumpster. The service days would be Monday or Tuesday for the trash, fairly flexible on the recycle. See Amendment 0001
5 The spread sheet has several times and I understand that is the number of times per area per year but the numbers are different on each area therefore if possible, could I get some clarification on what the number per week to empty and clean up around them would be.
See response to RFI #4.
