About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) related to a federal contract opportunity for the Redwood City Dredging project. The RFI provides clarification on several questions regarding the disposal of dredged material, including suitability for placement at various sites such as the San Francisco Deep Ocean Disposal Site, Montezuma Wetlands Restoration Project, and Cullinan Ranch Restoration Project. The RFI also requests the full sounding density multibeam survey data and asks if the Government will consider extending the contract duration. The related federal contract opportunity is for the REDWOOD CITY MAINTENANCE DREDGING FY 24 project, which is a full and open competition Invitation for Bid (IFB) with an estimated cost range between $5,000,000 - $10,000,000. The work includes annual maintenance dredging of the Redwood City channel to -30-ft (MLLW) plus 1-ft of paid over-depth and transporting of the dredged material to various upland disposal sites.
