SUMMARY OF CHANGES
A. REQUIRED RESPONSE DATE: By way of this Amendment No. 0002, Interested Vendors are hereby notified that the “Required Response Date/Time” for this Solicitation is extended from 16-Mar-2020 at 04:00 PM (Central time) to 17-Mar-2020 at 04:00 PM (Central time). Therefore, all submittals shall be furnished no later than this new date and time, and as specified at Section A of the Solicitation, namely to the designee Mr.
Kyle Smith via his email at Kyle.D.Smith@usace.army.mil.
B. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF THIS AMENDMENT: Any contractor responding to the Solicitation shall acknowledge this Amendment by completing Block’s 15A, 15B, and 15C as contained on Page 1 of this document. The acknowledged amendment shall be accompanied by all other required submittals. Failure to provide a signed copy of this amendment will result in subject contractor being considered nonresponsive to the solicitation.
-- FOR THOSE VENDORS WHO HAVE ALREADY SUBMITTED QUOTES, YOU MUST COMPLY
WITH THE AFOREMENTIONED PROVISIONS. ACCORDINGLY, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO
ACKNOWLEDGE THIS AMENDMENT AND SUBMIT YOUR ACKNOWLEDGED COPY IN THE
SAME MANNERS DELINEATED ABOVE.
C. CONTRACTOR’S INQUIRIES: This Amendment furnishes the USACE’s Responses to Contractor’s Questions that have been received since the publishing of Amendment No. 0001– please refer to the following responses, which are applicable to this Amendment No. 0002:
Question 1: The total number of hours for this training seems to be 19 hours. Will the participants bring lunch or should the bid include lunch for the participants?
USACE Response 1: All particpants will be responsible for providing their own meals. Please refer to the Scope of Work, which doesn’t include a requirement for the successful offeror to provide meals.
Question 2: The solicitation says the participants will come prepared with two speeches on two different topics. For timing purposes, how minutes long are each of these pre-prepared presentations? For example, is speech 1 five minutes long?
USACE Response 2: Each participant’s speech will range in approximately 3-5 minutes in length.
Question 3: The solicitation says the participants will come prepared with two speeches on two different topics and should be accessed for improvement. They will deliver the first topic on the first day and the last topic on the last day. Typically one would access the same topic/delivery for pre/post training improvement.
Can the agenda reflect this adjustment and still be considered?
USACE Response 3: The winning offeror must comply with ALL requirements of the Scope of Work; this includes submitting an agenda that conforms and satisfies the scoped requirements.
Question 4: Should Section B include only the net amount or should it include the net amount and a detailed breakdown of each amount/cost of supplies, subcontractors fees and materials needed?
USACE Response 4: Please refer to USACE Response 24 under Amendment No. 0001 and the Scope of Work section “Post-Award Deliverables”.
Question 5: Does the room offered for the training have wifi?
W912P620Q0002
USACE Response 5: Please refer to the Scope Of Work section “Post-Award Deliverables” which, states “The Contractor shall provide a list of materials and equipment needed” i.e. projectors, microphones, internet, etc.
However, for all intents and purposes, the room does have wifi, but the USACE has strict compliances when it comes to availing Information Technolgy/AV to contractors. This is the reason why this type of deliverable is marked as a post award deliverable.
Question 6: The training provided proposed to be highly interactive. is there only one room for training or can we propose one room for training and one room for video recording (participants would rotate out to be recorded when it is their time while others complete exercises in order to maximize time for the training).
USACE Response 6: Please refer to the Scope Of Work section “Post-Award Deliverables”.
