About this file

This solicitation package includes technical specifications and plans for replacing disconnect switches in a power plant switchyard. The contractor will be required to provide new motor-operated and manually-operated air-insulated switches and operators for all disconnect switches in the switchyard. The new equipment will be installed by the plant personnel. Optional items for new mounting brackets, stainless steel mounting hardware, and auxiliary switches are included to facilitate installation, with the decision to exercise the options based on available funding. This will result in a single firm fixed-price supply contract awarded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District. The technical specifications provide equipment ratings and requirements for materials, corrosion protection, switch types, motor and manual operators, control cabinets, spare parts, factory testing, and operation/maintenance manuals.
