These turbine generators are of similar vintage and the reports provided can be utilized to project estimate quantities of potential asbestos containing materials for the Barkley turbine generator asbestos abatement. Note: the reports in Attachment F are provided for information only. Until asbestos sampling has been completed as specified in this task order, guaranteed quantities of asbestos cannot be determined.” And “Normal working hours at the powerplant are 0630 to 1700, Monday through Thursday. The turbine-generator contractor is assumed to be following this schedule;
however, the schedule has not been finalized. Deviations from the normal working schedule may be approved.
Contractor should coordinate schedule with the COR and powerplant staff.”
Section 4.6 Period of Performance. Reference to section numbering was corrected.
Section 4.9 Asbestos Abatement Work. Statements added as follows: “Note: There are 120V 20-amp outlets available at each unit, however coordination will be required with Government and Rehabilitation Contractor for utilization of the outlets.” And “Note: Contractor should propose method of asbestos abatement (i.e., wet methods, wetting agents, etc.) in their Asbestos Abatement Plan (see Section 4.2).”
