SUMMARY OF CHANGES
SECTION SF 1449 - CONTINUATION SHEET
SOLICITATION/CONTRACT FORM
The required response date/time has changed from 08-Aug-2019 01:00 PM to 13-Aug-2019 01:00 PM.
The following have been modified:
STATEMENT OF WORK
STATEMENT OF WORK
I. Background: The Aircrew Flight Equipment section requires 2 parachute packing tables installed in building 2A, AFE parachute packing room, to replace the current tables they are using.
II. Scope: The parachute tables T.O. 14D3-11-1 par 2.5.1 (see below) Packing tables dimensions are 45 feet by 36 inches by 36 inches. The current tables being used are 40 feet long by 30 inches wide by 36 inches high and are insufficient for parachutes we are currently packing.
These tables will require storage underneath for parachutes and a consolidated tool kit (see Example 1). The tables will also need to be installed in the area currently being used for this purpose. Since there are columns located in the area where the tables will be located, the shelving will not be butted against the wall and will require a backing. The useable working area dimensions for installing the parachute tables are 43 feet long by 9 feet 9 inches wide (see Drawing Bldg 2A). It will be your responsibility to verify all measurements before delivery and installation.
III. Place of Delivery/Installation: 1 Air National Guard Rd, Bldg 2A, Scotia, NY 12302 Time of Delivery: Within 6 weeks of receipt of purchase order.
IV. Miscellaneous: Site visit will be conducted upon request. POC SMSgt Ronald Barnes at
(518) 344-2126 or CMSgt Michael Kruzinski at (518) 344-2574.

SECTION II PARACHUTE AND FABRICATION SHOP EQUIPMENT
2.5 PARACHUTE TABLES.
2.5.1 Packing Tables. The basic requirements of a packing table are that it be long enough to lay out the complete assembly for inspection and servicing (45 feet by 36 inches by 36 inches) and that it be smooth and free of slivers and burrs. Two types of packing tables are generally used for packing personnel type parachutes, the cutaway table (see Figure 2-6) and the portable table (see
Figure 2-7). When procuring for a new parachute shop, the packing table detailed in MIL-T- 43150 should be considered for use with personnel parachutes. Each packing table can be equipped with any one of the three sets of tension attachments shown in Figure 2-8. Each of these sets includes a tensioning strap device. The construction details of the tensioning strap device for parachutes are shown in Figure 2-9. Packing table shall not be used as cutting tables.
