About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for three Iowa Medical Exams federal contract opportunities (W912LP-26-Q-4003, 4005, and 4007) issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

The document clarifies four key requirements for occupational health medical examination services. Lab draws must include the components listed under section 5.7.2.1 of the Performance Work Statement with standard equipment for applicable testing, with an estimated quantity of 23 lab draws. Contractors are required to maintain a fixed clinic or hospital facility, as the Government does not accept on-site services that complete examinations over a 1-3 day period, though fixed facilities are noted as beneficial for follow-up appointments. All three contract locations have incumbents: Waterloo (W912LP25PA030), Davenport (W912LP25PA012), and Des Moines & Boone (W912LP25PA025). Mid-level providers with knowledge in occupational health are permitted to perform all required examinations, including dermatologic exams, with an amendment issued to clarify this requirement across all three contract locations.
