About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for three federal contract opportunities related to occupational medical examination services in Iowa.
The solicitations (W912LP-26-Q-4003, W912LP-26-Q-4005, W912LP-26-Q-4007) cover medical exam services in Waterloo, Des Moines, Boone, and Davenport. Lab draws required under section 5.7.2.1 of the Performance Work Statement include standard equipment for applicable testing, with an estimated quantity of 23 lab draws per location. A fixed clinic or hospital facility is mandatory for service delivery, as it supports follow-up appointments; on-site services completed over a 1-3 day period are not acceptable. Physicals and dermatologic exams may be performed by mid-level providers with occupational health knowledge, following a solicitation amendment clarifying this requirement. All three contract locations have incumbent contractors: W912LP25PA030 (Waterloo), W912LP25PA012 (Davenport), and W912LP25PA025 (Des Moines and Boone). The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (W912LP prefix indicates USACE).
