Q1. The Amendment seems confusing. I see 0002 58 rooms for 3 night and 0001 39 rooms for two nights. Is this correct? Please clarify and all other changes.
A1. The government increased the requirement to include 2 separate locations 1)Bennington 3-5JUN & 2) Jericho 3-6JUN.
Q2. I would like to request clarification on the total number of rooms required to ensure my proposal is accurate.
A2. The requirement is for two separate locations with overlapping dates. One location is in Bennington, VT (3-5JUN, 2 single and 37 double rooms) and the other in Jericho, VT (3-6JUN, 3 single and 55 double rooms).
Q3. Is the lodging for two separate groups CLIN 0001 & CLIN 0002 for the same dates? Please clarify exactly how many rooms needed for each if that’s the case.

Q6. To ensure accurate and compliant pricing, we request clarification on the following critical items:
Q6a. Cancellation / Attrition Does the Government require a specific cancellation or attrition policy for the hotel room block, or may the contractor apply standard commercial hotel terms?
A6a. There will be no cancelation policy as part of the contract. If less rooms are occupied, the government will be required to pay for all rooms reserved.
Q6b. Taxes / Tax Exemption Will the Government provide state or local lodging tax‑exemption documentation, or should all applicable taxes be included in the quoted rates?
A6b. This arrangement will be a firm fixed price contract between the government and a vendor. All costs should be reflected in the price quoted. The government does not pay taxes in Federal contracts.
Q6c. Incidentals & Liability May the hotel require a credit card or other guarantee for guest incidentals or damages, with lodging charges limited to the Firm Fixed Price room rates?
A6c. Yes. Soldiers checking into rooms may be required to submit a credit card to cover incidentals and damages.
