About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a Kitchen Equipment and Install solicitation (W912LM-25-Q-A010) issued by the Minnesota Army and Air National Guard. The Q&A addresses four key vendor inquiries regarding equipment infrastructure compatibility, delivery logistics, site preparation, and procurement timeline. Vendors were informed that existing infrastructure supports the specified equipment, the jobsite will be clear for installation, and the government seeks to place the order as soon as possible with a targeted delivery date of July 1st.

The related federal contract opportunity is a commercial items solicitation seeking quotes for kitchen equipment and installation services. The government will evaluate submissions based on price, technical merit, and past performance, with the intent to award one contract but reserving the right for multiple or partial awards. Quotes must be submitted via email to Eric Ahlgren, with vendors required to have an active SAM.gov registration. The solicitation encourages innovative solutions and emphasizes that all specifications are not absolute, providing flexibility for potential contractors to propose alternative approaches.

Questions & Answers – Kitchen Equipment & Install – as of 24 April 2025

Q#1: Are there any constraints regarding existing infrastructure (ventilation, gas/electrical capacity) that we should account for in our equipment recommendations or installation plan?

Response: No, all equipment specified was selected to coordinate with existing infrastructure.

Q#2: We can quote this with the equipment being drop-shipped from the different manufacturers to the delivery site, warehoused, and then have our install team come out once everything is there? Or will the vendor be responsible to collect/store the equipment and bring to install?

Response: The vendor will not be responsible for receiving or storing equipment deliveries.

Q#3: Will there be any existing equipment still at the job site that we'll need to disconnect and move, or will it already be clear when our team arrives?

Response: The jobsite will be ready for equipment installation.

Q#4: We see the requested delivery date of July 1st; however, the delivery times will really be dependent on when this is being ordered. Do you have an idea of when you're looking to place this order?

Response: As soon as possible.
