About this file

The document is a Q&A file for Solicitation W912LM-25-Q-A009, addressing promotional items for the Minnesota Army National Guard's FY25 Recruiter program. The solicitation allows for partial or multiple awards and requires vendors to submit sample promotional items with specific imprint requirements. Key details include a pre-award process mandating vendors to deliver one fully completed sample of each item to Minneapolis within 8 days of request, with samples counting towards the total order if approved and not being reimbursed or returned if rejected.

The solicitation covers commercial items and is subject to Free Trade Agreement regulations. Vendors must provide promotional items with a flip-top lid, and samples must include the required imprint with precise placement, size, and color specifications. The procurement is a Request for Quote, and the government will not issue a separate written solicitation. Vendors should note that shipping costs for samples will not be reimbursed, and the samples will be used for physical validation and approval prior to potential contract award.

Questions:

1. Any possibility of bidding or supplying one item?

Yes. The Government intends to issue one contract but reserves the right to consider partial or multiple awards.

2. Would it be acceptable to send the sample without imprint?

No, part of the sample is to make sure that the placement/ size/ color of the imprint is correct.

3. The lid in the solicitation picture example appears to be a flip top lid. Can you please confirm the preferred type of lid?

We have amended and corrected the deficiency of having the lid listed with two different requirements. The requirement is the FLIP TOP lid is what is required.
