About this file
This document is a Response to Questions for the W912LA24QA013 STARBASE San Luis Obispo Custodial Service contract. The solicitation covers custodial services for two buildings (703 and 706) totaling approximately 1,800 square feet, with cleaning required 12 months per year. Key requirements include the contractor providing all cleaning supplies, equipment, and dollies, with specific instructions to avoid cleaning personal desks and perform daily and twice-monthly cleaning tasks. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) with additional hourly rates for potential incidental or emergency services, estimated at about 10 hours per Contract Line Item Number (CLIN).
The government anticipates the program will be active approximately 11 months per year, with July being a slower month. Window cleaning will involve daily spot cleaning and full window cleaning twice monthly. The contractor must submit an annual cleaning schedule within 30 days of contract start, detailing daily and twice-monthly periodic cleaning dates and areas. No annual deep cleaning tasks are currently anticipated, though the government may consider a special deep cleaning event in July when furniture can be moved. The site visit for this project was optional, and there is no incumbent contract.
