Questions and Answers for Indiana Statewide Food Solicitation July 30, 2024
1) Is there any government owned warehouse space available to service this contract?
ANSWER: No. There is not any government-owned warehouse space available to use with this contract.
2) The dollar amount is up to $7,000,000.00 over 60 months and the average IDT monthly business is $49,700. The IDT sales could be somewhere around $3,000,000.00 over the term of the contract. Does that mean that you are anticipating $4,000,000.00 in AT sales?
ANSWER: Based on budgeted numbers, we estimate $2.4 million a year from NGB for Annual Training subsistence and around $1.8 million for IDT subsistence.
3) I know that you want to start service mid-October, when do you anticipate award?
ANSWER: On or about September 5, 2024. This is subject to change.
4) On the consolidated price list there is space for submitting prices for the 5 option periods.
But in the solicitation, you are stating that the CPI will be used to determine the prices for the option years. Can you please clarify?
ANSWER: This will be addressed in a later amendment to the solicitation.
5) It states that you will issue a delivery order per unit. If there are 50 units drilling in a month you plan on issuing 50 delivery orders?
ANSWER: Delivery Orders – Possibly creating weekly DO’s based on each week’s sales orders.
(as we have done in the past) We would have multiple units on a DO based on that week’s orders.
6) On the menus if we have items that are not available, can we make reasonable suggestions?
ANSWER: Menu items – Yes, reasonable suggestions would be accepted
