The mission of the Army CYS Program is to reduce conflict between parental responsibilities and unit mission requirements. This is accomplished by providing a wide range of program and service options through various systems of delivery to support mission requirements. These programs enhance the quality of life for DoD and Military Families and contribute to the total well-being and healthy development of children and youth. Military Families’, children and youth rely on a stable lifecycle of predictable programs, a safe, secure learning environment, and support services that address the stresses and unique needs of military life. The cornerstones of the Army CYS Program are quality, availability and affordability.
