a. Cold chain must be maintained post event until samples are turned over to the State Surgeon at Camp Mabry

c. Confirmed
Q2. The PWS and Medical Event Summary sheet “predicts” 25% of SMs will need immunizations. For Dallas, that equates to approximately 105. Please fill in the follow table as to the projected number of each:

Q3. Historically on your previous medical contracts since 2009:

b. Has TXARNG given previous contractors access to military pricing and immunization storage?
c. In the 25% estimate what is the percentage of each serum typically needed?
A3. Answers as follows:
a. vendor
b. Not to my knowledge
c. Determined by roster Q4. Regarding Dental Case Management: In the Service Delivery Summary regarding dental it states, “Contractor shall conduct the requested exams/procedures. No procedures outside of those listed in App D will be approved.” Please confirm contractors are responsible only to treat those items listed in App D and need only to case manage (beyond the event), any dental emergencies from event treatment, or items in App D that contractor chooses to have done off-site?
Please note, per App D, contractors are not responsible for any root canals, full-bony impactions, or any prosthodontics. Are these to be referred to TXARNG Case Management?

Q7. Please remove this erroneous statement at C8.1: “All corporations must be a Texas Professional Corporation and since events include dental, the owners must be licensed dentists in the State of Texas.”

Q8. Will contractor be administering the flu vaccine? If so, for needle and other supply purposes, how many should we plan supplies for?
A8. TXARNG will provide flu vaccine. Quantity of other supplies will be determined by the vendor selected based upon the roster provided upon award of the contract
Q9. When is a long-term contract expected to be solicited?
a. For small business contractors to purchase and image multiple computers on a limited basis is cost prohibitive and gives the incumbent an advantage since their expenses were able to be spread over multiple years. Is TXARNG willing to level the playing field by purchasing the computers that must be used exclusively for
TXARNG? That same cost advantage – spreading costs long-term – would apply to TXARNG.
b. For computer purchasing and imaging purposes (if the above idea is rejected), will TXARNG announce the award in enough time for this to occur prior to set-up day?
i. What is the expected date of award announcement?
A9. A long term contract is being worked and it will be posted to FBO.
a. There is no incumbent. Currently computers are not available.
b. The award shall be made and the vendor will be contacted no later than Tuesday, January
22, 2019.
