1) Could you please let me know how I can obtain the Asbestos Survey?

During the beginning stages of the demolition of building 1080 the contractor raised concerns of potential asbestos mastic underneath the VCT tile. The government gave the contractor permission to test any and all material that was suspect of asbestos. The contractor tested the mastic, brick, brick mortar, drywall and window caulk. Out of the material tested the caulk around the windows and the mastic under the floor tile came back positive for asbestos. Government also believes that the rain leaders that run from the roof down are wrapped with asbestos as well. In 2010 there was an environmental survey done suggesting that there was non-friable asbestos under the floor tiles in the building. There has not been a full asbestos survey ever done. The information that we have is based on the testing done by the contractor that was undertaking the demolition project. Attached is a copy of the asbestos finding.

2) When will there be a pre-bid site visit for us to review the work location?

At this time, there is not a schedule site visit for this project.
