Text version
Q: Please confirm if Used Buildings will be considered for this requirement.
A: Used trailers are ok as long as they are in good condition.
Q: Will 60' units be acceptable? The drawing has 60', specs have 64'.
A: The intent was that the 64' includes the tongue length. Actual trailer box is 60'.
Q: Is the site visit mandatory?
A: The site visit is not mandatory. I am offering the site visit so vendors can be familiar with the area the building will be sited and necessary work for supplying power. However not attending the site visit is not grounds for a future claim for unknown site conditions.
Q: An acoustical tile ceiling will work better for the whips to supply power to the cubicles. Would you consider changing the ceiling requirement? See the pics attached. We use 2' x 2' grid now and not the 2' x 4'.
A: 2'x2' or 2'x4' acoustical ceiling tile is acceptable.
Q: The vendor responsible for access (steps, decks, ADA ramp)?
A: "OSHA COMPLIANT ALUMINUM ENTRANCE STEPS" are required per the "EXTERIOR" section of the specifications. ADA ramps are required and a line is included in the cost section of the PWS. No decks are required.
Q: You will need awnings over the exterior doors--do you have specs for the awnings?
A: A 4'x5' awning is required per the floorplan. No specs are provided.
