W912J2-18-R-5011 Question and Answer

1. To scale drawings for each facility, dimensions, ceiling and wall materials Drawings will be displayed at the site visit, and provided to the company that is awarded a contract. The government does not intent to provide ISP maps during the solicitation phase of this procurement.

2. Can we re-use any existing wire?

No; all existing video cabling is old/analog, and will need to be replaced by digital (HDMI or equivalent) cabling.

3. Are there cable trays available?

Though several buildings have existing cable trays in major hallways/corridors for holding our bulk ISP cables, none of the rooms involved in this project have cable trays in them for the A/V systems.

4. Are the ceilings hard lid or suspended?

The office spaces have drop ceilings. The hangars are hard lid, with cables running through EMT/conduit.
