About this file

This file is a Questions and Answers document for Solicitation W912HZ26RA020, a Hazardous Waste Disposal opportunity issued by the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineer Research and Development Center. The Q&A addresses three key clarifications regarding disposal and scheduling requirements.

Regarding facility locations, contractors may propose alternative disposal locations rather than being restricted to Waste Control Specialists (WCS) in Andrews, Texas for treatment and disposal. However, for explosive disposal specifically, contractors must identify and include their own location in their pricing proposal, as the government does not designate a specific facility. On scheduling, the government confirmed that if the bid due date is extended via amendment, the project start date of August 4, 2026, will correspondingly shift to maintain the timeline between solicitation and performance commencement.
