B. Independently support pumps and piping so weight of piping is not supported by pumps and weight of pumps is not supported by piping.
C. Automatic Condensate Pump Units: Install units for collecting condensate and extend to open drain.
D. Equipment Mounting: Install base-mounted pumps on cast-in-place concrete equipment base(s) using restrained spring isolators . Comply with requirements for equipment bases specified in Section "Cast-in-Place Concrete." Comply with requirements for vibration isolation devices specified in Section "Vibration and Seismic Controls for HVAC Piping and Equipment."
1. Coordinate sizes and locations of concrete bases with actual equipment provided. Cast anchor-bolt inserts into bases.
2. Install dowel rods to connect concrete base to concrete floor. Unless otherwise indicated, install dowel rods on 18-inch (450-mm) centers around full perimeter of concrete base.
