The solicitation is a small business set-aside seeking qualified contractors to perform scheduled inspection, testing, and maintenance tasks on various fire suppression systems across one-hundred forty-nine water-based systems located in sixty-one facilities. Services include wet pipe, dry pipe, dry chemical, wet chemical and clean agent fire suppression systems. The contract would be for an initial base year with two option years. Questions received address the frequency of required testing based on the systems' testing cycles outlined in the solicitation's tables. Solicitation N/A Since the requirements for testing changes depending on the cycle of testing we would like to ask what years are the fire alarm and sprinklers on. Or in other words based on the table 2-2 and 2-3 what frequency of testing will have to be done in each year of the contract?
In table 2-2 and 2-3 there is a frequency (Annual is done yearly, Building inspection Annually). Year one for the most part started in 2018, so in 2023 a 5-year will be required (along with the pervious years options), unless it is a new system then the inspections tags will dictate it’s inspection year.
