SECTION 00 70 00 - CONDITIONS OF THE CONTRACT
The following have been modified:
52.211-10 COMMENCEMENT, PROSECUTION, AND COMPLETION OF WORK (APR 1984)
The Contractor shall be required to
(a) Commence work under this contract within 10 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed,
(b) prosecute the work diligently, and
(c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than the dates listed below.
(1) The Contractor shall complete all on-site installation (ready for Government pre-operational test phase) of the headcover pumps for Main Units 1 - 6 between June 2019 and December 2019. No two units may be out of service at the same time (not including Unit 2) unless allowed by the Contracting Officer. Each unit must be completely operational, commissioned, and ready to be back on line prior to taking another unit out of service. Training Government personnel will be provided by the supply contractor. The Government will have the units available and prepared for the Contractor to start on-site installation work within the work windows listed below:

08 Jul 2019 – 26 Jul 2019 (Installation work window and final commissioning)
MAIN UNIT 6
05 Aug 2019 – 23 Aug 2019 (Installation work window and final commissioning)
MAIN UNIT 2 (Out-of-Service)
1 Sep 2019 – 30 Nov (Installation work window and final commissioning)

30 Sep 2019 – 18 Oct 2019 (Installation work window and final commissioning)
MAIN UNIT 3
04 Nov 2019 – 22 Nov 2019 (Installation work window and final commissioning)

02 Dec 2019 – 20 Dec 2019 (Installation work window and final commissioning)
(2) At the end of each work window, the pumps must be operational, discharging into the existing dewatering system or other method approved by the Government.
(3) The Contractor shall complete system commissioning within 30 days of final installation.
(4) The Contractor shall complete final cleanup for each unit by not later than 7 calendar days after completion of work in (1) above. Demobilization will be not later than 15 calendar days after completion of the final unit.
(5) The Contractor shall complete final submission of O&M manuals and final approved versions of Contractor prepared drawings by not later than 30 calendar days after completion each unit in (1) above. Working “as-built” contract drawings will be completed for each unit before starting work on the next unit.
