There will be only one site visit offered. Offerors planning to attend must register for the site visit by sending an email to: Phyllis.L.Buerstatte@usace.army.mil and Jani.C.Long@usace.army.mil

Firms must register no later than the day before the site visit.

(End of provision)

On Unit 3, the expectation is to remove a top hatch cover and a top air shroud to allow access to the top of the end winding for inspection and measurements. Will also remove some of the inspection hatches on the barrel on the perimeter of the stator to allow visual view of the back of the core.

Vendors will not be allowed to crawl around the whole top of the rotor, but only in the small restricted area designated by the Government. Only 2-3 people will be allowed to enter the unit at one time; 10 minutes maximum until all visitors have had access, then the unit will remain open for others who wish to reenter.
