About this file
This is an Amendment 0002 to Request for Quote (RFQ) W912DY25Q0054 for the US Army Engineering & Support Center, Huntsville, concerning furnishings for Building 6103 at Fort Novosel (Rucker). The amendment adds Building 6103 to the existing RFQ and incorporates a revised Excel attachment with the Building 6103 Furniture Item Descriptions (FID) and Statement of Work (SOW).
The amendment introduces two new Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs): CLIN 0005 for furnishings in Building 6103, with a requirement for the contractor to provide items in accordance with the attached line items and Statement of Work, and CLIN 0006 for an optional 6-month CONUS storage of the furnishings. The storage option may be unilaterally exercised by the Contracting Officer, with contractors required to provide a firm fixed price for storage that includes securing furnishings from theft, damage, and weather, as well as handling and transportation costs. The amendment specifies that quotes should be valid for 120 days and must comply with DFARS requirements for item identification and valuation.

2. DELIVERY
DELIVERY TYPES:
Staged Delivery – This type of delivery is selected for occupied buildings whereby the rooms must be emptied of old furnishings and reinstalled with the new furnishings by the end of each workday. The number of rooms that must be completed per day will be stated in the Table 1 of the Statement of Work (SOW). If there is a limited space for containers in the staging area, this will also be noted in the Table 1 of the Statement of Work. This information is important as it may dictate how the containers are loaded for delivery.
Non-Staged Delivery – This type of delivery is selected typically for empty buildings whereby the entire building is accessible during the install dates listed in the contract. This is important because it will dictate how the items are loaded into the containers for shipment.
