This conference is for informational purposes only.

Comments/clarifications made today WILL NOT change the Solicitation in any way.

Solicitation General Information

IFB Number: W912DW18B0008 Amendments will be issued when changes to Solicitation are necessary.

IAW FAR 36.204, the magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.

Bid Guarantee: A Bid Guarantee is required in the amount of 20 percent (20%) of the bid price or $3 Million, whichever is less.

This project is procured as an Invitation for Bid with a public bid opening.

Requires submission of the completed Bid Schedule.

The bids are required to be delivered to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District Office, no later than 1:00:00 PM Seattle Time, on 18 MAY 2018 (unless bid due date is changed by amendment)

► Please refer to Block 13 on SF1442.

► Bids are submitted in a sealed envelope with the solicitation number on the envelope.

No bids will be accepted after the noted time/date

Design-Bid-Build Selection Procedures & Basis of Award

(FAR Part 14- SEALED BIDDING)

Price Analysis performed to determine fair and reasonable prices. Bids shall be evaluated without discussions.

Contract award. After bids are publicly opened, an award will be made with reasonable promptness to that responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation for bids, will be most advantageous to the Government.

► Bids will be evaluated for fairness and reasonableness through the use of a price analysis

(FAR 14.408-2)

► Bid Bond will be checked for legal sufficiency.

► Pre-Award Information will be reviewed.

► SAM information reviewed to determine Contractor’s responsibility IAW FAR 9.1.

Wage Determinations Davis-Bacon wage rates shall be used on this contract.

The Department of Labor (DoL) establishes minimum monetary wages/fringe benefits to be paid in performance of this contract.

Wage Determinations (WD) incorporated into this IFB may be updated/modified during the solicitation period.

The most current version of the WD will be incorporated into the Contract at time of award.

Your bid must always reflect the latest update to the WD.
