Request For Informaon
Q1: The CONTRACTOR shall meet the following requirements.
1. The contractor will be required to furnish a commercially available self-contained camper trailer, camping motor home, or slide-in, not to exceed 35 feet in length, to be parked at a site designated by the government. Such unit shall be factory made, neat in appearance, and acceptable by the Government.
Pickup campers, tents, or home-built campers such as restored buses are not acceptable camper units for live-in park contractors. The area where the trailer/motor home is parked must be maintained in a neat, clean, and sanitary condion always. No animal houses, cages, pens, or similar facilies for pets or raising of animals will be allowed. All pets of contractor’s personnel will be confined or on a leash of 6 feet or less in length and must behave in a manner that will not pose a threat or a nuisance to the vising public. The contractor will be required to live in the park during the work assignment.
So, I just wanted to make sure that the self-contained camper is something that is not paid for by the government, correct?
The govt. does not provide the camping unit. That is at the expense of the contractor.
What is necessarily defined as living on the premises, is there a certain number of hours they would have to be there, outside of work hours?
The contractor is required to be always in the campground during their scheduled shis. Wednesday and Thursday you are required to be in the campground 24/7. The days off are Monday and Tuesday, you are not required to be on site those two days.
Was there a previous contractor working on this contract? If so, who?
This will be a new contract. The previous contract number is W912DR21P0043
How much was the previous award?
The previous contract that was in place for the services we are requesng was awarded at $55,552.40 in totality.
