About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for a federal contract opportunity for playground equipment purchase and installation. The solicitation (W912DQ25A010) involves two potential playground locations: Bucksaw Campground and Shawnee Bend Beach, both managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Kansas City District. The document clarifies site-specific details, including minimum square footage requirements (1,700 sq ft for Bucksaw and 1,500 sq ft for Shawnee) and confirms that only two playgrounds will be considered. The solicitation includes two option Contract Line Items (CLINs): the first is a turnkey installation for Shawnee Bend, while the second option involves equipment provision and installation without surfacing or border. Only one option will be awarded if selected.

OFHT PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT PURCHASE WITH INCIDENTAL INSTALATION Q&A 1

1. Can I get photos of the installation site for both Bucksaw Campground and Shawnee Bend Beach.

Please see attached for pictures of Bucksaw and Shawnee Bend playground locations.

2. if you have dimensions of the area's that would help me get started on which size set will work in that area, or how we configure the set in the area?

Minimum square footage is specified in the PWS for each playground, 1700 sq ft for Bucksaw and 1500 sq ft for Shawnee. There is room at each location for various playground designs.

There will only be two playgrounds, not 3. The 1st Option CLIN is turnkey installation for Shawnee Bend while the 2nd Option CLIN is preparation for, providing and installing the equipment only and does not include the surfacing or border for Shawnee Bend. Only one option will be awarded if one is awarded at all.
