Ques ons and Answers

1. The solicitation indicates that the contractor must be responsible for toilet paper, paper towels, the soap dispensers, the cleaner’s disinfectants. we don’t know what your current client is currently using. Also, the quantity. Could you kindly furnish us with this information?

Toilet paper – Contract states two ply toilet paper is to be used, no specific brand. Previous contractor used what was the least expensive from their supplier. Last season a total of 1056 standard size roles, and 81 large size rolls were used.

See performance work statement para 3.8.1 - To limit the contractor’s risk, the contractor shall annually supply a maximum of 1320 Standard size rolls and 120 Large size rolls of toilet tissue. Once the contractor’s maximum amount of toilet tissue is utilized and at the government’s discretion, the government may provide additional toilet tissue required.

Paper towels – All of our facilities have electric hand dryers. The only paper towels needed would be for cleaning surfaces, mirrors, etc. This would be the contractor’s preference.

Soap dispensers – We use bottled soap dispensers provided by the government and maintained through our volunteers. The only soap needed would be for cleaning.

Cleaner’s & Disinfectants – Common cleaner’s and disinfectants are used. A multi-purpose cleaner / disinfectant like Pine-Sol or Simple Green. Soap and water. EPA certified or with the EPA Safe Choice label. Approximately 82 gallons were used last season per area.
