Solicitation Questions and Answers 1
1. Do you have dimensions for the other buildings? I only see the one building that needs the facia rebuilt to be straight.
There are 2 large shower houses. Each are the same size, design, etc. The roof is not square to the ridge. Both sides of each building need to be squared. Drawing CS503 shows what is needed, but if there are ways to roof the buildings using steel that does not require the roof to be squared, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) will consider the system. We will need documentation that shows what the finished system will be. We originally wanted to square the ends so water did not run down the facia. The sheet after CS503 is the as-builds for the large shower house. All the roof measurements for the large shower houses are on this page. Using the zoom feature in Adobe you can zoom in to read the measurements.
The two small shower houses are the same. Like the large shower house roofs, the ends are not square to the ridge. These buildings do not have any support protruding from the lower part of the roof that will allow the rood to be squared using the method illustrated on CS503. Our intention is to have the steel roof overhang the edge so water does not run down the facia. These are the buildings we are supplying the materials for. On the last page of the drawings is a photo of the as-built drawings. Using the zoom feature in Adobe, you can zoom in to read the measurements.
